Go Away if You’re Easily Freaked Out
art, Fun October 27th, 2007StumbleUpon is one of the best ways to discover blogs and websites you would have never found otherwise. It’s how I came upon an entry at Kavefish.com that showcases the freakish artwork of Ron Mueck, an Australian-born, hyper-realist sculptor working in the UK.
If you are intrigued by this disembodied head, then click over to Kavefish and really get an eyeful. Halloween feels like an appropriate time to share stuff like this. Enjoy!
Stumble it!

Wow, that’s some crazy stuff. Have you seen the graphic (by someone else) where the guy is waking up from bed and has a blank flesh face and he is trying to pick the flesh mask that he will wear that day?
It’s very freaky.
And not in a good way. But this stuff was interesting.

Brrrrrrr! The sleeping head is freaky in a good way; but that baby? The stuff of nightmares!

@ Cardiogirl — No, haven’t seen it, but oddly, I would like to.
@ JD — The baby IS the stuff of nightmares! I do love the tiny old ladies. The detail is incredible.
