contests November 4th, 2009Congratulations go to Kathryn of the From the Inside … Out blog for being the first to guess that Monday’s What’s That item is the part of a lawn sprinkler that controls the orientation of the water spray. You can see here that you line up the wheel with the hose connector to whatever kind of spray you want to come out.

Wow, that’s a fancy sprinkler! I’ve never seen one like that before. It’s like all those fancy shower heads that have the different settings!

I’m sure if I had been feeling better I would have guessed that. I’ve seen enough of your what’s that photos to know that they are never what I think they are. However, for the sake of fairness, I have put away my sprinkler and lawn mower. I have gotten the snow blower moved to the front of the garage so it’s easy to access. I’m not thinking of summer items. Besides, I drove over my sprinkler with the lawn mower a month or so ago so couldn’t check. Congratulations Kathryn!

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my site! In response to your question about what we do when my husband gets sick…nothing. We’ve had to go to Urgent Care a couple of times but for the most part, he just doesn’t go to the doctor. CVS has a Minute Clinic that is really reasonable and we’ve taken him there a time or two. Fortunately, he bounces back pretty quick!
