Oh it looks so cute, and a little bit startled. Probably sees a mouth coming at it.

That is the cutest little pretzel bite I’ve ever seen, but I would have no qualms about eating it.

Cute little guy and perfectly safe around me. Fortunately for him, I don’t have a taste for pretzels.

I LOVE peanut butter filled pretzels. I’ve never seen one with a face before, although I don’t think any of them have lasted long enough for me to look at them long enough. That one looks like it knows what’s coming 🙂

Aw, that’s so cute! This post reminded me to be paranoid when eating food so I can catch if there’s food that looks like stuff.

Beth — It was cute! And FYI, cheese curls are my very favorite snack food. Just had ’em last night. For dinner.
joan — Ah, thanks. I try!
Babs Beetle — Yeah, I love how he has that surprised look on his crunchy face.
Nanny Goats — I know. Freaky, isn’t he?
Lynski — My thoughts exactly!
Pricilla — Fooled ya! I didn’t eat him. How could I? I just have to figure out where to store him so he won’t get crushed and dead.
Rima — I do typically eat all my food that looks like stuff. Except for the first one I ever did, a weird little overly-seasoned snack chip. I didn’t eat it because it sat out in my office for weeks and got kinda gross and soggy. RIP, little guy.
Linda — I don’t care for regular pretzels, but ones filled with PB? Oh, boy. Watch out. I just wish they weren’t so salty and bad for me.
ann — Oh, I would never find it either. That’s because I just shove my hand in the bag and draw out five at a time and chomp away. I’m shocked my reader even had the time to notice, but thankful!
Regan — Yes, please pay attention. You never know what you might find. If nothing else, it’ll slow down your eating and they say that’s good for digestion.
Janiss — You know, I should try it and see where it goes. Can’t hurt, right?

I am SO GLAD to see someone who has found their “passion in life”. And you are using it to bring “smiles” to other people’s faces and hearts.
Alot of people never find that passion within themselves.
Count it a blessing!

That is a cute fella on that pretzel. I will now keep my eyes open when I eat. Wonder if there any faces on lettuce. Will let you know. This should be fun.

He looks so scared, probably for good reason. Why do I KNOW it’s a he?

Awwww, it’s so CUTE! I’m going to have to start paying more attention to my food. I want to find food that looks like stuff! Maybe if I’m lucky I can find food that looks like the Virgin Mary, auction it off on eBay and be rich. Haha!

I never would have noticed. I eat my snacks way too quickly. It would have good reason to look so nervous.
June 17th, 2010 at 8:46 pm
I can’t believe people took the NPR story so seriously. Although NPR kind of instigated it by saying you are obsessed with windy. I feel awful that those commenters were jumping to such negative conclusions about you. I guess I’m late hearing about this I just don’t understand why people would take a funny, light-hearted story and turn it into something so nasty.

Mmmm. This reminds me: I must get to Trader Joe’s and buy some chocolate-covered, peanut-butter-filled pretzels. That particular variety is usually faceless, but always delicious.

JD, I just bought those chocolate covered peanut butter pretzels for the first time today. I meant to contact you about them because you were right, they are AWESOME! What’s even better about them is that when you shake them you can hear the chunk of dried peanut butter shaking around in the pretzel.

How can you eat something with a face? It may be on it’s way to becoming a sentient being, just a few days away from becoming a living breathing peanutbutter filled pretzel person. lol
BTW I need to send you the anatomically correct correct male carrot that was spawned in my garden a few years back. You’ll love it.
