Kathy, I wish you could hear me hooting and hollering while watching your video!
*thunderous applause*
VERY, VERY, cleverly made video, girl! Love the caption design – it reminded me of “The Jetsons!”
And brava to you for going through with this – I think that’s awesome. Also, doing it for such a wonderful cause.
So tell me, will you be eating anymore PB&J sandwiches?
NOT!
Again, congrats, girl!
Well done!

Kathy, you rock! It is cool that you had your very own clown security. I never knew clowns drank coffee… I always thought they drank Kool-Aid.

What a nice video for you to remember this special occasion. I really liked the music one some of the segments–very appropriate choice for clowning. You and the PBJ sandwich is so funny–how can you not like the jelly? I am not big on PB&J together though either and don’t blame you one bit for not finishing. The BLT definitely looked much better.
I expected to see more clown action though, like jumping around or skipping along. Did you actually work at all that day? It looks like you did to a powerpoint presentation.

Your face when you tried the sandwich reminded me of when my kids try something they don’t like (minus the clown make-up, of course!). Too cute! 🙂
Congratulations, Kathy. You survived Clown Day AND PB&J. And you did a good thing.
You rock, woman!

you’ve found your calling. entertaining. and how could someone curse at a clown, i mean come on. maybe he had a wand stuck up his butt. pooh on him. funny you didn’t like the sandwich. “i don’t like it.” um since this was your first time having a pbj, did someone withhold it from you when you were younger. why the delay. i haven’t had one in forever, i eat peanut butter and honey sammiches, not jelly.

Awesome! But I don’t understand why you don’t like the PB&J.

unfinishedperson — Aw, thanks Bryan. I think it’s “so me” too! Whiny and complaining about everything.
Ron — This is the closest I’ll ever get to a stage performance, so I’ll take that thunderous applause! Interestingly, many people have come up to me and asked if I would please give a correctly-prepared PBJ another try. I might. And it might even be with grape jelly, which I’ve since found out is the classic flavor for PBJ.
Les Privat — Why thank you! Thank you very much!
Daisy the Curly Cat — Hee. Clowns drink anything they want, as long as it doesn’t muss the make-up (p.s. I had the most interesting time explaining your funny comment to my mother today. Told her that you are a cat with curly furs, but that your mommeh has to do your typing for you since your claws get in the way. She laughed.)
Karen — Jason, my coworker and good friend, did a great job editing and adding good music to it, and in all the right parts. If I ever make a movie about Windy, he’s my man. The BLT hit the spot! I didn’t do a lick of work that day, only answered some work emails when I got home and into my street clothes. I’m sorry I wasn’t more clowny! It was hard enough just walking around like that. Next time? Balloon animals!
Nicky — I had to laugh at my own face I made. I’ll be the first to admit I behaved like a four year old. More than one person told me that day to stop being so whiny!
v — I cannot explain why I never had a PBJ before. I just knew in my core that I wouldn’t like it, and the video proves it. Sometimes you just know.
Linda Medrano — It was a jelly “mouth feel” sort of thing. Like jello. Not a fan. Also, you could see I had way too much peanut butter on there. Shut my mouth like a trap on the first bite!
Babs — See?! Right??? Gross me out!

My kids are like, “WHAT are you watching????” I will tell you that I felt queasy watching you eat that PB&J! Those are just gross!
Ok, I just glanced up at the previous comments and noted that Babs said the exact same thing as me! Glad we are not alone.

I laughed. I cried. I was sufficiently creeped out by a clown on campus. 🙂 It was a good movie though.

In more than a century of cinematic history, perhaps no film has so poignantly captured the experience of a clown eating a poorly constructed peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It’s a triumph!
