Cut Me Some Slack, Jack!
Uncategorized October 16th, 2018So I’m driving home from my BIL’s house on a highway near me and got behind a truck hauling some earth moving machinery and that always makes me nervous because you should never trust anyone to secure their loads well enough and I didn’t want to be behind him if that thing slipped off its bed and landed in my face so I got in the passing lane to scoot around him and sped up enough to get back in the right lane ahead of my exit home except I didn’t go fast enough and couldn’t find a space to move over so I missed my exit and that’s when I decided to just keep driving to the next exit where I could get off and stop at a Shammy Shine to get my car washed and so when I got there, I paid at the drive-up kiosk and got in line for the wash and was so proud of myself that I followed the directions of the guy at the start of the wash queue well enough to get my wheels aligned on the track thingy and you should consider yourself skilled if you can do that in one shot, but while I was patting myself on the back for getting my wheels in place and I was all set to put my window up so I don’t get wet and prepared my iPhone to film going through the car wash because that’s so fun, that’s when I made the mistake of putting the car in park instead of neutral and the guy screamed at me “Neutral! Put it in neutral” and I thought “OK, mister. I have all this stuff to do making sure I don’t get wet and all, and now you’re yelling at me to put the car in neutral and I meant to do that, swear to God, but I forgot and geez, man, who the hell ever puts their car in neutral gear for anything except car washes and give me a second here and cut me some slack, jack!
Here, have a soothing video of my car wash. It was hell getting it.
Stumble it!

I’ve never been in a car going through a car wash – but that purple sure is pretty.

Isn’t it? I think they should go one step further and make it multicolored. Make it a full psychedelic experience!

I pat myself on the back every time I get my wheels aligned properly; that is tough. The car wash I go to has a prewash you go through before you have to align your wheels so I don’t have the windows up issue at time of alignment. Plus I have an unlimited membership (I get all the washes I want and $0.12 off gas whenever I go to the pump for a low monthly fee) so at this point I’m used to putting it in neutral and my car is always so clean!

I want to pat you on the back for the exquisite paragraph-long sentence. That took effort that deserves to be recognized.

I hate driving behind semis or any large vehicle really. The chips in my windshield are all from getting too close to a giant tire of doom spitting gravel behind it.

Melissa — I like your car wash better, so many benefits! I used to go to a different one, but it’s further from my house and they don’t let you sit in your car for it. I much prefer getting to see a light show 🙂 I’m getting really good at wheel alignment, but will suck forever at putting it in neutral. I’ve come to accept this fact.
Jennifer — Thank you. It was hard.
Jeanie — You reminded me of the time a pebble flew off a dump truck and pierced something important under my hood. Car started to smoke within minutes after. Couldn’t believe the odds that that one stone would not only find its way under the hood, but hit with such force as to damage something inside. I think it was some kind of thing that regulates air conditioning. So glad it was covered under my insurance. I couldn’t prove it happened and didn’t get the name of the trucking company. Be careful out there!

Hello, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog in Firefox, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
Other then that, superb blog!

Right here is the right webpage for anybody who really wants to find
out about this topic. You realize a whole lot its almost tough to argue
with you (not that I really would want to…HaHa). You certainly put a new spin on a topic that’s been discussed for ages.
Wonderful stuff, just excellent!

I don’t know whether it’s just me or if everybody else
experiencing issues with your website. It appears as if
some of the written text within your content are running off the screen. Can someone else please comment and let
me know if this is happening to them as well? This might be
a issue with my web browser because I’ve had this happen before.
Appreciate it

Superb blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress
or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally overwhelmed ..
Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!
